I absolutely adore leather jackets! For me leather jackets are so versatile that they go with anything and everything and you can usually rock one in every season. But let’s face it, a really great leather jacket can be really expensive! It took me months to finally break down and buy mine and this week I am sharing my guide for making that investment.
It’s light sweater weather here in Michigan and as much as I am not ready for Fall I can’t seem to get warm lately. I’ve been bundling in sweaters and even socks! (And I HATE socks!) Despite being cold I like to surround myself with happy, warm colors. I’ve always loved pink and navy together! Add in a monogram and I am one happy girl.
Fall hit us hard in Michigan on September 1st. I woke up to crisp air, leaves on the ground, 50 degree temperature and a craving for a pumpkin spice latte. Personally, I wasn’t ready. I’m still not ready to give up my flip flops so this week I am sharing my top two favorite transition pieces into fall. (FYI: I am NEVER ready to give up my flip flops!)
My trip to Curacao was a bit different for me and it left me wanting to do so much more on the island. I had never been to a port in the evening before, and I wasn’t quite sure what to expect. It was a perfect little adventure that I can’t wait to return to continue.
As the days are shortening, the temperature is being crazy and now we have entered what I call late summer here in Michigan. I am a BIG fan of fresh produce and love to frequent farmer’s markets or even farm to table restaurants. This week I would like to share with you my Dried Tomato recipe that I have been busily making the last couple of weeks.
Kimonos have been so on trend lately, and I couldn’t be happier! They are the perfect addition to spruce up any outfit. You can wear them with jeans, work wear or over a sundress to add a different look. What’s even better is that a thicker kimono is the perfect piece to transition into Fall.
I’m holding onto this summer weather and sunshine as long as possible. Even though the world around me is talking about pumpkins, fall and football. Not ready for that! This week I am sharing some of my closet staples as well as a wonderful sea glass necklace!
