My Favorite Summer Orzo Pesto Salad Recipe

Pesto Orzo Salad is a family favorite of ours, and actually the first recipe that I had ever created.  I created this recipe over summer break when I was in high school. The behind the scenes story was that I was on the phone with my Mom and we were discussing what we should have for dinner, while doing so we went through a quick list of what we already had in our pantry..  Needless to say this salad is wonderful, I have been making it ever since as it instantly became a family favorite! I even made it during my semester in Italy!
